Grass electric pitches and grass pitches with hardstanding bases are also available. Guests pay only for the electricity they use. A shepherd’s hut sleeping up to three, plus self-catering lodges, provide alternatives to traditional camping.

Two modern toilet and shower blocks (one serving the hardstanding area, one the camping field) offer hot showers, family rooms, laundry and covered washing-up areas; they are cleaned at least twice daily. A small shop in the main building stocks essentials.

There is a children’s play area, free coarse fishing on two stocked lakes (licence required), and a perimeter dog walk with access to neighbouring woodland for off-lead exercise. Dogs are welcome.

The location suits both short stays and longer breaks. Ringwood Forest cycle tracks are a few minutes away, and the wider New Forest, Salisbury, the Jurassic Coast and Moors Valley Country Park are all within easy reach. Open fires are not permitted, but raised gas or charcoal barbecues are allowed.

The site opens on a seasonal basis, typically from late February or early March through to the end of October or early November. It has a strong visitor rating and was named Best Caravan Park for South East England in the 2025 Campsites.co.uk awards, as well as featuring in the organisation’s 2026 shortlist of recommended sites.
